Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 27, 2026.
Welcome to our Cookie Policy. Usually, this is the part where a company carefully explains the dozens of tracking scripts, third-party trackers, and intrusive cookies they drop on your device the moment you land on their site. We are taking a different approach.
1. The Short Version: We Don't Use Cookies
Clycyo was built to offer radically transparent and privacy-friendly analytics. As part of this mission, the Clycyo marketing website and the Clycyo analytics tracking snippet do not use cookies, local storage, session storage, or any other persistent identifiers to track visitors across the web. Because we do not use tracking cookies, you do not need to display a cookie consent banner when employing Clycyo on your own site.
2. How We Measure Traffic
We believe it is possible to understand website performance and audience engagement without compromising individual privacy. Instead of storing a persistent cookie on your device, we generate a daily, rotating hash based on a combination of your anonymized IP address and user-agent string. This allows us to count unique visitors for a 24-hour period without creating a persistent profile of who you are or what you do over time.
3. Essential Application Cookies
There is one exception: if you are a registered user of the Clycyo platform and log into our dashboard, we must use essential, functional session tokens (often managed via secure HTTP-only cookies or similar strict headers) to maintain your logged-in state. These are strictly necessary for the proper functioning of our application, security, and authentication, and they are never used for advertising or marketing tracking.
4. Third-Party Services
We minimize reliance on third-party services that track our users. We do not use Facebook Pixels, Google Analytics cookies, or third-party retargeting networks on our site. Any third-party integration we do use (such as for payment processing via our billing provider) is vetted to ensure they respect the same high standards of privacy and only use essential cookies necessary to securely process transactions.
5. Your Choices
Since we do not use tracking cookies, there is nothing for you to opt out of regarding our analytics. We inherently respect "Do Not Track" signals, though our cookieless methodology already provides a strictly anonymous experience. You retain full control over your browser settings to block or delete any functional cookies, though doing so may prevent you from logging into our dashboard.
If you have any questions about this Cookie Policy or how we handle telemetry and privacy, please refer to our Privacy Policy or contact our support team.
